I know my wife (Laura) says I don’t like you podcast (but I really do)

Before I get to the episode, did you see WriteRCastle on twitter? I love this in-character twitter account and the tidbit about Esposito wanting Knicks playoff tickets was fantastic. The account does a lot to make these characters seem more real, or at the very least reinforce the emotional connection I have with them.

anyway, about the episode. We were absolutely cheering at the end. First, when in the hospital when Beckett talking about herself via proxy “Maybe he wasn’t ready to face everything” “When will he be ready” “Maybe when he feels safe” was wonderful. Message delivered AND received.

And to cap it off the final conversation Beckett’s expectation of being ready “soon” has me really hopeful that “soon” means next week’s episode.

And frankly, I really don’t care if next season suffers horribly from the Moonlighting curse (where the show went downhill once they got the couple together) But i really don’t think it will – I have a lot of trust in these writers, and even if it’s misplaced for next season the journey has been worth it.

If those comments confuse you, it’s because they are meant for the following episode.

    Sorry for the spoilers…
